Our first three programs are all in French and will run November through December 2007.
The classes will be taught by Marie-Gaelle Casset-Ford.
Marie-Gaelle is from Brittany, France. She holds a Master's degree in Education, focusing on creative arts and learning. Her interests are teaching art and French to children, through original immersion programs in a unique atmosphere.
HANDS ON SCULPTURE WORKS

An exploration of form and space through various sculptural materials:clay,found objects,recycled materials...Mobiles will be our jumping start inspired by Alexander Calder and its fascinating study on balance(no french background is necessary for program)

Art Show Dec.19
A research of artists' life work to understand their time and place in history as well as their works.Art Shows will follow and videos made to record the artists and their work will join the exhibit. This program is in French and some background is necessary.

Developing vocabulary through fun exercises of building cities and creating our imaginary one. Creating an awareness for the visual forms around us in relation to the verbal French language. ( French background necessary)
